About the IAPEN INDIA Pediatric Core Group
Adequate nutrition during infancy and childhood is essential to ensure the growth, health, and development of children. Research suggests malnutrition (under and over nourishment among children) is an increasing public health concern in our country. A more focused nutritional intervention is important and will aid in suitable growth.
The Paediatric Core Group of IAPEN INDIA will devote to scrutinize and deliver the best strategy for the benefit of our future generations.
Aim: To educate right nutrition practices for paediatric population in the hospital and the community.
Vision: To help children reach their true potential by improving their nutritional status
Mission: To handhold schools, hospitals, communities, Anganwadi and government agencies pan-India for strengthening them as stakeholders of practicing Paediatric Nutrition.

• Senior Consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and has played a key role in establishing the Comprehensive Paediatric Liver Transplant programme at Global Health City.
